The Lord Jesus Christ commands His churches to cease and desist; who in his name, teach false doctrines (1Tim 1:3). Be reconciled to the Lord. Do not lead others astray! While you say you have been baptized into the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Acts 11:16); you do not act like it. You resemble the churches of Pergamum and Thyatira, of the End—to whom will come Messiah, with eyes of flaming fire and the sharp two-edged sword (Rev 2:12-28). Those churches hold to the teachings of Balaam and Balak, and that woman Jezebel who calls herself a Prophetess, who refuses to repent.
Through your progressive, ‘Woke’ practices of societal ‘inclusion’, you ‘advocate for’; and therefore teach others to commit sexual immorality. Repent!
Those churches NOT preaching the Truth must “repent (turn & desire God’s Will, per His Word) and be baptized. They simply preach, “Grace, grace!” But they suppress the Sword of the Holy Spirit—the Word, the double-edged sword of Truth (1Thess 5:19; Eph 6:17). They must prefer to “Grieve the Holy Spirit” (Eph 4:30), than to please God. They come dangerously close to blaspheming the Holy Spirit—the unforgivable sin.
“Anyone with ears must listen to what the Spirit says to the churches” (Rev 2:29). Churches should be the light upon the hill; not blend in with among the crowd perishing in darkness.
Churches: you must tell everyone to “let the Holy Spirit guide your lives so you won’t do what the sinful nature craves…evil…; doing EVIL is just the OPPOSITE of what the Holy Spirit wants! When you follow the desires of your sinful nature the results are very clear: sexual immorality; lustful pleasure. Anyone living this sort of life WILL NOT inherit the Kingdom of God” (Gal 5:16-21).
They become “Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God” ((2Tim 3:4). Make no mistake about it: “As many were led by the Spirit of God, THEY are the sons of God” (Rom 8:14). AS many who are led by the evils in society, they are the sons of the devil. So, “Make not provision for the flesh to fulfill the desires thereof” (Rom 13:14).
False prophets tell you, ‘You won’t see judgment, only peace’—but judgement falls on those who “do not respond to correction” (Jer 14:13; 25:31). The LORD disciples those he loves. “If the watchmen who see the Sword coming fail to warn the people; the people will be slain for their sin, and the watchmen held responsible” (Eze 33:6).
‘Sin?’ you ask; ‘God sees no sin when we have grace.’ Indeed; but live worthy of this calling. Understand His Word does not change with the millennia whims, “I had not known sin, but by the law” (Rom 7:7). Know His Laws; His principles for right living.
Baptism in Jesus Christ is to live new lives; no longer slaves to sin. “You say, ‘Now we have grace, we can go on sinning.’ OF COURSE NOT!” (Rom 6:8,12,15). Sin is defined by the Word of God.
Know this: #LGBTQIA is an “abomination” to God and “vile” (Lev 18:22; 20:13; Judges 19:22). Gen 19:4-7 calls it “wickedness”. The rainbow, a symbol of God’s promise not to destroy the world by flood again, has been hijacked. Mark HIS words: He will come again & destroy the prideful in their wicked ways; since they do not repent and turn from their sin. They have lifted your eyes in #PRIDE, in broad daylight—as defined by God’s Word, not mine—and gone against the Holy One of Israel (2 Kings 19:22).
What sorrow awaits those who drag their sins behind them with ropes made of LIES, who drag wickedness behind like a cart” (Isa 5:18). Exchanging truth for lies, they are given over to “shameful lusts” (Rom 1:26-27). Woe to your shepherds who allow it! “Woe to those by whom the offense comes” (Matt 26:24). “What sorrow awaits the leaders of my people—shepherds of my sheep—for they’ve destroyed and scattered the ones they were to care for” (Jer 23:1).
In Luther’s Office of the Keys and Confession it says: “the CALLED ministers of Christ [are to] deal by His divine command, and [are] to EXCLUDE manifest and impenitent sinners from the Christian congregation.” Stop. This means, blatant unrepentant people should be excluded from the church until…
“…[but welcome] and absolve the repentant—those willing to amend; this is as valid and certain, as heaven also, as if Christ our dear Lord dealt with them Himself.” Stop. This means the repentant, willing to amend and turn towards doing the will of God should be admitted.
How is this, as compared to the ELCA, for example; and other congregations today who fail to preach the FULL Truth of the Word? They welcome all in love—but fail, in their ‘inclusion’, to have the courage to tell them the Truth of God’s Perfect Will for them. In essence, these churches have discouraged confession of sin, since they do not preach what is ‘sin’. Therefore, they encourage others to sin, also. How loving is it to wish upon the lot the wrath of God as the consequence of sin?
The problem with extending grace without knowledge of sin; and the necessary repentance thereof, is that it will never lead to their confession of sin! Without knowledge there is no confession of sin, and can be no true repentance. Without repentance they encourage defiance of the Word of God; and that results in something far from peace that comes from the. grace of God!
They love to quote Romans 1:17: “The Good News tells us how God makes us right in His sight; it is through faith that a righteous person has life”—yet, they fail to add the next two verses (18 & 19), “But God shows His anger against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because He has made it obvious to them.”
I will say again: the LGBT movement is an “abomination” to God; and “vile” (Lev 18:22; 20:13; Judges 19:22). Gen 19:4-7 calls it “wickedness”. Coupled with such detestable sins, “you lifted your eyes in PRIDE, in broad daylight—as defined by God’s Word, not mine—and have gone against the Holy One of Israel” (2 Kings 19:22). And this worldwide ‘Pride’ movement—sinful—comes with some church stamps of approval, as those seen in the ELCA.
Have those Lutherans not read Luther’s Small Catechism (6th commandment)? “Flee youthful lusts” (2 Tim 2:22)? Flee from sexual “immortality” (1Cor 6:18). “Repent, then turn to God so that they may be wiped out” (Acts 3:19). Have those Lutherans not read Luther’s Office of Keys and Confession: “the sins of the penitent, that is those who repent of their sins AND believe in Jesus Christ, are to be remitted. The sins of the Impenitent are to be retained as long as they do not repent (Acts 3;19; Ps 51:17). But the ELCA is not the only church in support of these sins!
Congregants say, “We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We know the Lord.” So do the demons and they shudder (Jms 2:19). “If someone claims they know God; but doesn’t obey His commandments, that person is liar and is not living in TRUTH. These people (of the church) never really belonged to us” (1John 2:4,19).
Jesus spoke of the Last Day: “Many will say to me on that day, but we prophesied YOUR name…and I will say ‘I never knew you; you who breaks God’s law. You’ve built a house on sand’” (Matt 7:22-26). And a word to the false shepherds of those sheep: “His sword will strike the worthless shepherd” (Zech 11:17).
If this applies to your church, you obviously agree with your worthless shepherds. You’re not being “insulted because you bear the name of Christ” (1Pe 4:14) but because you claim His name—especially in the role of shepherd—yet “dishonor His sacrifice”. “False shepherds! “Disguised as sheep; but inwardly wolves…”
Orthodox Christians will know others by their actions. “A good tree bears good fruit” (Matt 7:15-20). A good tree can not bear bad fruit (sin). Your shepherd might not have told you that; therefore I will. “Live as obedient children; don’t slip back into your old way of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know better THEN” (1Pe 1:14).
No one is perfect; but know this: “When people do what is right, it shows they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But when they keep on sinning it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. They who have been born into God’s family DO NOT make a PRACTICE of sinning. By this we can tell who are children of God” (1Joh 3:7-10).
If you are part of a church whose shepherd tells you lies simply to feel included, learn the Truth on your own and turn away from your sin. “My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings back from wandering will save that person from death and bring about forgiveness of many sins” (James 5:19-20).
Your shepherd must have wandered from the truth; and should have told you long ago, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” Shepherds are to lead sheep; and feed them; they too were once sheep. Sheep are nearsighted and easily wander away without a good shepherd who leads them to rest.
“False teachers love to indulge in evil* pleasures (*again—‘evil’ is defined by God’s clear nad unchangeable Word). They delight in deception, even as they eat holy communion with you. Some of them have never stopped sinning from their own twisted sexual desires! They LEFT THE PATH & lured back INTO sin those who barely escaped destruction; promising freedom, they themselves are slaves to sin & corruption. You are a slave to whatever (sin) controls you” (2 Peter 2:13-21).
“This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says, ‘In your repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it’” (Isa 30:15). Now, some of you will not repent. Repentance means to turn away from sin, and towards God. Take His yoke upon you, not the yoke of sin. If all you have is a false teacher at the head of your church, it is doubtful they taught this.
All temptation comes from desire. Desires shoots forth sinful actions; and when allowed to grow gives birth to death (Jms 1:14). “You are lying if you say you have fellowship with Him but go on living in spiritual darkness; not practicing TRUTH” (1John 1:6). “It would’ve been better for them to not have known the way of righteousness, than to have known and turned their backs on the sacred command that was passed onto them. ‘A dog returns to his vomit & swine to his mud’” (Prov 26:11).
In the End, the dogs —the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murders, the idol worshippers and all who loves to make a lie (Rev 22:15) are not allowed through the gates of the City, to eat from the Tree of Life. However, everyone who REPENTS and believes in the atoning power of Jesus Christ are blessed, for they have washed their robes; so, “Live lives worthy of your repentance” (Matt 3:8).
Jesus’ nature is far more than just the warm, loving, welcoming individual. He loves the sinner; but hates sin, for He is holy. He said, “Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword” (Matt 10:34). He executes judgment with the double-edged Sword of his mouth; to punish those who do not respond to his Word.
You ask, ‘Why is it no one has told us to repent, and amend our ways, since He atoned for our sins? How can we live rightly?’ The two-edged sword in His mouth is the Holy Spirit, the Word of God (Eph 6:17). When a person is saved, they receive this Power to live a better life, in line with His Will.
You have a Comforter; a Helper that can live within, to help you live a life worthy of your repentance and the gift of grace. He is the POWER from on high (Luke 24:49). If your shepherds are only focused on societal inclusion, and loving grace; they likely fail to inform you of the necessary repentance. If they refuse to tell you the truth that is within Scriptures, I will (Eze 2:7). Because I, like the LORD, want to see no one punished by the Sword, due to continued rebellion.
The healthy need not a doctor; so Jesus atoned for all sinners. (The Hebrew meaning for atonement is to cover—in this case, to cover sins.) His gift of grace—the Good News of Jesus—is not to be taken lightly, though; for He loves you and wants you to abide in His Will. “For those God foreknew. He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son” (Rom 8:28).
“(Jesus) went into Galilee where he preached the Good News ‘The time promised by God has come at last! The Kingdom of God is near! Repent and believe the Good News!” (Mark 1:14-15).
“Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of God, who calls you to His kingdom and glory; worthy of the Gospel of Christ” (Philippians 1:27; Col 1:10; 2 Thess 1:11). “As a prisoner for the Lord, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received” (Eph 4:1). How more clear can these verses be regarding His Will for your life.
He will come again, in the End. “While you are waiting [for the End]…make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in His sight” (2Pet 3:14). He comes with an unknown name, and a name that is Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war…His title: The Word of GOD: King of kings and Lord of lords. From his mouth came a sharp sword…” (Rev 19:11-16; Ps 17:13).
The question now is: will you alł—those living a blatantly rebellious lifestyle, encouraged by your wayward shepherd—accept the truth; or will you all remain in rebellious ways? “I overthrew some of you as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire, yet you have not returned to Me” (Amos 4:11).
May you repent and come to pray, “Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD are good” (Ps 25:7). @achadpeace
